Step number 2: You need a scale that not only calculates your total weight but it also tells you your body fat percentage. For females normal is below 28 and for men it’s below 20. If you’re above that, that’s enough of a clue that your body is actually in storing mode rather than burning mode.
And finally step number 3: it’s all about the quality of calories not so much quantity. Believe it or not you actually need to understand how to eat from a macronutrient standpoint – carbs, fats and proteins and a micronutrient standpoint iron vitamin D, vitamin C, what you need to do is to calculate exactly what you need to eat and match it to your physical activity, your height, your genetics, your gender all of this plays a role.
